I’ve been helping my clients for years be accountable for their actions with this simple trick because the words we use do play a part in how we behave (positive and negatively!).
For the most of us we don’t even realise we say ‘try’ as often as we do, but once you’ve picked up on it, it’s hard to ignore and is why I never let a client off the hook if they say it to me during a session.
So, next time you go to say the word ‘try‘ swap it for ‘I will‘.
Pause and take note on how it makes you feel saying ‘I will‘ instead of ‘I’ll try‘.
