When it comes to WLB there is always going to be a spill over…
We aim to close the laptop at 5pm but end up checking in on emails on our phone after dinner.
We plan to go to the gym in the morning but are far too tired from the previous work day to get out of bed before it’s light.
We say we’re going to not have a glass of wine this week, but have one midweek to take the edge off a stressful day.
Spill over will happen, it’s normal, no-one is going to get it right all of the time.
What to look out for is when spill over becomes part of your routine, a new habit or way of working.
